If you find that you still have trouble even when the issue isn't there, this group may still be a good fit.
For example:
The kids are sleeping soundly... but you're not.
You've got a few days off...but you still can't sleep.
Your pain is much lower... but you're still tossing and turning.
If the only time you have sleep trouble is when you have that early schedule, your kids keep you up or you have a pain flare up (or there's another clear explanation for sleep issues) then you may want to focus on addressing the other issue first before pursuing treatment for sleep.
For example if
When the kids are sleeping, you're able to sleep well
You sleep well on days off or when you have lower pain days.

Yes! People in menopause get some of the best results from this program. Often sleep problems in menopause are dismissed as part of the package but research shows it doesn’t have to be this way.
Recent research showed that this treatment (CBT-I) “significantly improves sleep quality and reduces insomnia severity in menopausal women.” https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11595697/

This worry is very common. If you've been struggling with sleep for a while, you've probably tried many things (meditation apps, sleep hygiene tips, maybe even therapy for anxiety) and still haven't gotten the relief you're looking for. It's natural to think, "Sure, research says it works, but my situation feels different."
Here's what we see time and again: the clients who feel skeptical at the start often experience significant improvement. They often say things like "If you told me 6 weeks ago that I'd be sleeping this well I wouldn't have believed you."
It makes sense, most people with insomnia have worked really hard to fix their sleep so trying something new can start to feel hopeless.
The protocol we’ll use (called CBT-I) works differently. It's designed specifically to address the patterns that maintain insomnia that the other strategies don't reach. It addresses insomnia comprehensively and at the root of the problem.
You don't need to believe it will work to give it a try. Your skepticism is completely welcome. The experience of trying these strategies and seeing progress is what creates change, not optimism going in.
At minimum, you'll know you've tried the first-line gold standard treatment for sleep problems and you'll have clear information about next steps if you need it.

Free Consultation ($0) 15 to 30 minutes - This is the first step
$75 per group meeting
$300 for the initial evaluation (see below)
The typical total cost for a course of treatment is $900 which includes the initial evaluation and 8 group sessions. Some people find results in fewer than 8 sessions.
Why is the initial evaluation important?
There are different effective treatments for different types of sleep problems and it's important we get to the bottom of your specific type of sleep issue so we can get matched with the right type of treatment. This is something that requires 1:1 attention before starting the group.
Most of the time, the group is a great fit and in that case you’d continue to your first group meeting. Occasionally, the assessment uncovers an underlying issue that needs to be addressed first. While this can be a worry, it’s great news because the goal is to get to the real root of the issue. If this happens, as part of the assessment you’ll leave with a plan and options for next steps to address your sleep concerns at the source.
If you have any questions, you can ask them before you schedule any paid visits.

Even more details about the evaluation:
We’ll go through the Structured Clinical Interview for Sleep Disorders to rule out other sleep issues that are often missed and underdiagnosed. This includes concerns like circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, hypersomnia and others. It’s important to me that you have the best experience possible in the group and if there’s a rare underlying concern, I want to catch that early so you can see the best results. -
That’s great, many of my clients already have an individual therapist and continue working with them while you’re doing the treatment in group or 1:1 format.
Because we’re focusing on your sleep with a specialized approach, it works well alongside other therapy approaches. -
Yes, pronouns will be included in introductions and there is an expectation that everyone’s identity and pronouns will be respected.
